Harishankar Jagadeesh is an Economist with Econ One Research India Pvt. Ltd. in Delhi, India. Mr. Jagadeesh provides research and quantitative analysis support in antitrust (competition) and regulatory cases. His antitrust experience includes merger assessments, cartels and abuse of dominance cases.
Prior to joining Econ One, Mr. Jagadeesh worked at Nathan India where he worked on several competition cases in sectors including financial technology, biotechnology, cement and shipping. Mr. Jagadeesh’s work experience also includes a stint at the Competition Commission of India (CCI) as Research Associate; economist at AZB and Partners, New Delhi; and as a consultant at the Hong Kong office of ICF International. At the CCI, Harishankar worked with the Economic Advisor on several antitrust cases, including the investigation against major e-commerce platforms, and merger assessments including the acquisition of Lafarge Cements by Holcim Cements. At AZB and partners, Harishankar worked with the competition practice headed by Sameer Gandhi. At ICF International, he focused primarily on the shipping and aviation sectors, and he executed projects for the Maritime and Ports Authority of Singapore and the government of Papua New Guinea among others.
