In today’s digital world, goods and services are accessible from not just local shops but also from national and international sellers at a click of a button. eCommerce has altered the way most people shop. One goes to a website, selects a product, feeds in one’s address and payment details, and makes a purchase without ever interacting with the seller. What makes such a transaction comfortable, where neither product nor seller can be seen and personal details have to be shared? It is the trust we place in the digital seller. But what are the factors that contribute to building that trust?
